3. Hang your pots and pans. Instead of storing your copper and aluminum in cabinets, save on cabinet space by providing pots a place to hang above your kitchen island. This can give you easier access to the pots, and can make your kitchen feel cozy, warm, and homey. If you still have space in your pot hangers, you can also place your ladles, wooden spoons, and even herbs there.
Paint the old hardwood floors with patterns. This won't just boost the aesthetic appeal of your floors but will also conceal imperfections. In fact, you will surely be amazed on how a newly painted floor can greatly affect the overall appeal of your kitchen. Take note also that it will be a lot easier for you to clean painted floors.
While the stain dries, use a nylon pad to clean your kitchen tiles that have remaining residue on them.
